Basic academic requirements:
- Be a regular student of the current semester upon request.
- That the subjects to be replaced are first registration and correspond to the fifth level of studies or higher.
- Not having completed third registration during their entire academic career.
- Not having been sanctioned by the University of Azuay.
- If you have second registrations for the mobility semester, you must speak with the Coordination of your School before applying to see if they allow you to substitute these subjects with those from abroad.
- Under no circumstances will the substitution of the subjects Graduation Project Design and Graduation Workshop be approved.
- The courses chosen to take abroad must be relevant for your career. Review the offer carreers 1st cycle (degree) and then choose “study plan” to review the subjects. You must choose only S1 subjects (odd semesters).
Application Deadline: Sunday, April 14, 2024
Send the following attached documents until Sunday, April 14, 2024 to contoriasRI@uazuay.edu.ec, the subject must be written UDA-UBI exchange application
- CV (PDF) in English or Portuguese.
- Copy of passport (minimum valid until the end of April 2025) or appointment from the Civil Registry.
- Outgoing Academic Mobility Request Form (Annex 1). Don't forget to sign the form!
- Evidence of extracurricular activities (if any)
- Motivation letter in English or Portuguese (500-700 words) addressed to the University of Beira Interior (PDF). You can review tips on how to write a motivation letter at the following link: https://bit.ly/CMotivacion
- If you are a student of the Faculty of Legal Sciences, we need a prior report from the Coordination of your School to begin the process in the Department of International Relations. The report must mention that if you are the winner of any semester mobility call, you will be able to obtain endorsement from the Coordination of your School.
The official language of Portugal in which classes will be taught is Portuguese. It is not a requirement to know Portuguese at the time of applying, but if you are selected you must commit to having extensive knowledge of this language by September 2024.
Payment: Selected students must normally cover the cost of registration and tuition for the semester (August - December) at the UDA and will be exempt from charging registration and tuition at the University of Beira Interior.
