Eligible courses:

• 2, 3 or 4 week courses of "Italian Together: Group Course".
• Unique Start Dates: June 1 or 29, 2026.

* Students must manage their own accommodation, transportation, and personal expenses.

Criteria for participation: 

• Passport Requirements: Minimum validity until November 2026
• Academic Credits: Students will be able to process two credits in elective subjects upon their return upon passing the course.
• Registration Deadline: March 8, 2026.

A visa is required for a short stay in Italy. You will only need to apply for one if you are selected. The visa application process is personal and is not handled through the University of Azuay. You will need the acceptance letter from your host university for the application; however, we recommend that you begin preparing the rest of the required documents as soon as possible after being selected and schedule your appointment as soon as possible.

Please note that the University of Azuay has no influence on the work of diplomatic missions of other countries and cannot guarantee that you will be granted a visa or that it will arrive in time for the start of your stay. Therefore, your stay will be subject to visa issuance.
